If my tips are wrong, how do they get corrected?

TiPJAR works like a bank and has to operate in a fully financially regulated manner. Every last payment must go through the right process, be correctly recorded, and demonstrate that all tax implications have been accurately calculated.
This means that while we'd love to just transfer you any money you're owed, we must ensure that that money reaches you via the appropriate channels. We need usually to make the correction from the next split, as we distribute 100% of the tips whenever we split them.

Rest assured, whenever these issues crop up they are an absolute priority for us and we will do all we can to get your money to you as quickly as we possibly can.
