Splitting SUPERTRONC tips is the responsibility of different teams of people – it could be that a manager hasn’t signed off your hours earlier in the week, perhaps the funds haven’t been sent to us by your employer, and so on.
A typical SUPERTRONC week looks like this:
MONDAY: Employer sends us/we receive data from till systems regarding tip amounts
TiPJAR requests that that money is sent to us
TUESDAY: Employer pays that amount to TiPJAR
WEDNESDAY: Hours need to be signed off for the prior week up to Sunday and received by TiPJAR
THURSDAY: Data is checked and some employers like to complete final checks themselves
FRIDAY: Everything starts to process – this can take a few hours. Tips move from your team’s TiPJARs into your personal Wallets
Once the tips are in your wallet you can choose to wait for your automatic payout, or can request an advance and draw the tips into your bank account straight away. When withdrawing tips it usually takes a few minutes before the tips arrive with you, but can take up to 48 hours in some circumstances, just like any bank transfer.
